FAQ'S

Find answers to many common questions in our FAQ section below.

For additional help, don't hesitate to reach out via phone or email.

  • Is salt therapy safe?
Salt therapy is safe and drug-free, providing effective long-term relief and can be used along side prescribed medication as a complementary treatment.
  • What happens during a salt therapy session?
During a salt therapy session, you will relax in a comfortable, tranquil room that is filled with finely ground salt particles. These particles are dispersed into the air by a special halogenerator, creating a microclimate similar to that of a salt cave. The session lasts 60 minutes. As you breathe in the salty air, the particles help to clear the respiratory system, reduce inflammation, and promote overall relaxation. The environment is peaceful, with soft lighting and soothing music, allowing you to unwind while benefiting from the therapeutic effects of the salt.
  • What do you wear?
No specific clothing is required; however, we recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting salt on, as the particles resemble dust but can easily be brushed off or washed away. For individuals with eczema or psoriasis, wearing a T-shirt and shorts is advised to allow the skin to benefit from salt exposure. Upon arrival, we will provide shoe covers and hairnets for you to wear during your session, ensuring our rooms remain clean and hygienic.
  • Can I bring my phone or other electrical devices into the room?
We recommend refraining from using electronic devices during your session, as the salt particles can potentially cause damage. To make the most of the calming benefits of salt therapy, we encourage you to store all devices in the lockers provided. Should you choose to use a device, it will be at your own risk. Please ensure it is muted and the screen brightness is lowered to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone.
  • At what age can a child begin attending salt therapy?
Children can begin attending as early as 6 months old.
  • Is salt therapy safe during pregnancy?
Salt therapy is generally recommended for pregnant women; however, if you have a complicated pregnancy or are taking medication, please consult your doctor before beginning treatment.
  • Can I continue taking my medication while undergoing salt therapy?
Yes, salt therapy is intended as a complementary treatment. Please continue to follow your doctor's advice and consult them before making any changes to your medication regimen.
  • How can I schedule a salt therapy session?
There are two ways to book a session: you can call us at 01908 766588, or use our online booking form to submit a request, and we will confirm your appointment. Since appointments are booked manually, we recommend calling the office for next-day sessions, as email requests may take longer to process.
  • This is my first visit. Should I arrive earlier?
Yes, we recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time to complete a registration form.
  • What is the duration of a session?
A session lasts for one hour.
  • What is the maximum number of people allowed in a session?
Each room has a maximum capacity of 7 people.
  • Can I accompany my child during their salt therapy session?
Yes, every child who purchases a session or package at full price is entitled to have one adult accompany them for free. For larger families, the first child pays full price, and each additional sibling receives a 50% discount on their session or package. Please note, this offer does not apply to promotional deals.
  • What is the refund policy for salt therapy purchases?
We have a strict no-refund policy for salt therapy sessions and package purchases. However, unused sessions (excluding the 1 Month Unlimited package) can be transferred once by the original purchaser to another person within the validity period. No additional transfers are allowed. For more information or to arrange a transfer, please contact us. Please note that the 1 Month Unlimited Salt Therapy Sessions package is both non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Is parking available on-site?
Yes, there is a private car park nearby (next to Bamboo Cottage Chinese Takeaway) offering free parking for customers of businesses at the Old Stratford Local Centre. Falcon Drive is currently a free parking zone, so you may also park along the roadside, but please be mindful and considerate of our neighbors.
